gear problems

1995 Neon 5 spd. Accidently popped the clutch with half a ton of stone in the trunk and now the car only goes into 3rd, 4th, Reverse gears. 99k miles on the motor/tranny stock clutch. Is it just the clutch or could there be more/worse problems

Ok i had a look at the clutch linkage re-attached it and it works like it did i have every gear. Now how do i get a replacement nut to put on top of the cable so it doesnt do it again.

i use hair pins from my local auto parts store
