Ebay Torsion Key's good or bad

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lift-...00349664QQrdZ1

I found these on ebay. I asked the seller and got attiude, but i wanted to know what those torsion keys do that mine stockers cant? I was just gonna try to level my 97 blazer out, the front is about 1" lower and do a 2" body lift. I know i can only crank the torsion so high, about an inch or so before i start messing up the front end. I wanted some input to that ebay kit. I was looking at the suspension today, If i would do the shackles the front end would have to come up 2" to level, that would be about a total of 3-4" in the front to compensate for the front end sag and the shackels. TO much for the torsions i think. I also was gonna get 31 9.50's or 31 10.50' all terrians on the stock rims(for once i like the stock rims). Preety much i want a zr2 stance with 31's. I wont be going offroading all the time, this is my daily driver Ideas???

Re: Ebay Torsion Key's good or bad

If you use those things on the front and crank it up you'll have the front end wear that your already aware of. You need to change the upper control arms to adjust the caster to where it should be to avoid the tire wear.

However it is ok to use the stockers to raise the height back to stock, and then do the body lift. Get an alignment then

The only 31 x 9.5" tires that I've found are made by super swamper

Re: Ebay Torsion Key's good or bad

Just bought the 2" body lift from summit, 130 shipped. that will give me a fun project next week. Yea i only found 10.50's i didnt want a wide tire like that, but i guess i dont have a choice now my big choice is all-terrains or M/T Baja claw or MTZ. Every one and there grand-mother has all-terrians, Im one for not tying to joing the club. But i have herd all good things on them. Will getting 31's compared to my stocker tires give me a lil more ground clearnce not much but i would think it would give me a little bit of the higher stance im looking for. And will the 10.50's stick out of the fender on the stock rims?

Re: Ebay Torsion Key's good or bad

super swamper TSL Radial makes a 32x9.5 for 152 per corner
http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/s...swamer_TSL.htm

I know that I've seen a 31 x 9.5 in there lineup as well.

Do shop around for tires though

Re: Ebay Torsion Key's good or bad

The super swamps are a pretty narley tire, but i wouldnt use them to the extent they were made for. deff need a radial, i want somthing thats has an aggressive tread like the mud-terrian or the baja claw's but they are going to be on-road 90% of its life so it pushes me towards allterrains or M/T MTZ. I have seen some s-10 and older nissans trucks and pathfinders w/ super swamps or an eqivilant that wernt lifted that high, and it looked terrible. it overpowered the truck i thught. I think they only look good in a HUGE tire size on a HUGE truck. Ive been shopping around, i cant find Mikey T's prices but tire rack has a hole bunch of selection and 115/per tire for the all-terians aint to bad.

One big question i have w/ 31's is i would get 5 tires for the spare most likley, but will the spare be able to fit under the car. It is pretty tight under there. I do have side exit exhaust in front of the tire so it frees up some room, But i have a trailor hitch. i looks tight.
