Keyless Entry on 97 Blazer
I have a 97 Blazer LS and the two keyless entry remotes I got with the car hardly work anymore. One does not work completely and the other only the lock and rear hatch 2x button work. I replaced the batteries on both and checked the insides to see for loose connections. I have read some posts on reprogramming but I didn't know if that is what I need to try and what reprogramming proceedure to try for that matter. Any help/thoughts thanks in advance.

Check Ebay for new ones. Maybe the ones you got are old and worn out.

Re: Keyless Entry on 97 Blazer
if u wanna try reprograming for the hell of it heres the procedure;
- remove the lower dash panel under the steering wheel (3-4 bolts) - look in the upper left corner and u will see the remote entry box with a red connector comming out of it. - with the doors closed, use a paperclip bent into a U and insert it into the red connector. u will hear the locks cycle and ur in programing mode. - hold the unlock button (i believe) and u will here the locks cycle again. programing is finished - repeat for the other remote
