Question about classes
I have been using the "alias" SuperStock for about four years now. Just this past spring when I attended my first AutoX, I heard the class called superstock. I didn't notice which cars were in that class and I have been having some trouble finding out. I was hoping someone could fill me in. I know that other forms of racing, ie. motorcycles use the class name also. I just don't want to sound like some goober who thinks his fairly stock Maxima is something it isn't.

Super Stock refers to a very specific set of cars.
If you are not driving one of these, you are not "Super Stock:" Super Stock (SS) Chevrolet Corvette C5 (‘97+) Corvette C6 (‘05+) Dodge Viper R/T, GTS Lotus Elise (‘05+) Esprit Turbo Mazda RX-7 Turbo (’93+) Porsche 911 (996 chassis) (‘98+) 911 (997 chassis) 911 Turbo, 930 (2WD) 911 GT3 Boxster S (‘05+)
