Re: NO Turn signals/back up lights

Couple questions for ya.
Do your tail lights work at all?
Do you have a trailer plug on it?

Re: NO Turn signals/back up lights

Under the rear bumper, attached with tape you will find bullet type connectors for your trailer wire harness. Whether or not you have a towing package, the wire harness is still there. Check it for shorts or broken insulation that may be causing troubles in this harness and of course the rest of the wiring to the tail light assemblies. Also one should check the brake switch and the multi-function switch in steering coloumn. More than half of your truck's wiring goes through that switch and may cause troubles. Someone's posted a recent and very good FAQ on how to clean and check your multi-function switch assembly, the search function will take you right to it. Good luck!

Re: NO Turn signals/back up lights

If it gets down to it I think I have some pretty good schematics on our trucks. (Mine is a 1995 4 door 4x4 LT).

Be sure to let us know if you need any other suggestions.
And be sure to post the fix when you get it figured out.
