CEL blinking

hey guys i got a 98 teg ls ... i just got my bodykit installed and everything. It has been sitting in my garage for about 3 weeks now. last sunday i started to drive the car again. i noticed that the check engine light was on then a few seconds later it started to blink. My car when it first starts when engine is cold it revs real high when its on park but when on drive it idles real low... it vibrates everything. when engine gets hot it still does it when i brake. but after a few seconds after i brake and come to a complete stop it kicks back up to 700 rpms. I do smell a little bit of gas.. which could indicate an O2 sensor problem or cat converter . Im puzzled about the blinking part. Never seen it do this befor. Is it a bad Sensor or a bad ECU? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

its blinking cause its misfiring pull to get the specific cel(s).

along with misfire, sounds like some symptoms of a clogged/bad IAC valve

Since you have a 98, Autozone will pull it for free. Just don't take any advice they give you. Write down the code they pull, and come back here for diagnosis.
