I have a Civic that was actually manufactured in Japan, and I was wondering if that engine would have the same specs as the US one. It's an '85 1.3L 4 spd Civic hatchback.

Yes it will have the same specs.

BTW, all '84-'87 Civic models were manufactured in Japan. If it was a true JDM model it would be right hand drive.

Aah, I didn't know that. I was just deciphering the VIN and discovered that, but I guess it wasn't as weird as I thought. Ok thanks.
