A/C Probs.
I recently noticed my A/C wasn't working and was told by the dealership that a rock had cracked my A/C evaporator causing all the freon to leak out. Has this happened to anyone else, as I'm just wondering how a rock could have hit it so hard to crack it as I'm not exactly four wheeling in the CL!
Any input would be appreciated.

Small pebles are known to make scratches even dents in cars at highway speeds. As far as how a rock could get into the engine compartment is beyond me cosidering there's a plastic shield under there to protect the engine from debris.
