Completed: Sonax Mercedes-For the Street!!
Wow, I haven't posted on here for quite some time and I must say that everyone's skill level has increased quite a bit. Well, this one was built for the CEO of the company I used to work for. I quit two weeks ago, but the CEO was very understanding and actually very supportive. He has an older Mercedes and I built this one to replicate his ride...to a certain extent, a sort of thank you gift for all the things he has taught me.
Body was painted with Tamiya Metalic Black for the upper half and Tamiya Gunmetal for the lower half. The brakes were widened to accept the Aoshima Amistad R Wheels and I used Alumifoil for the grill and mirrors. Not too much custom work, 95% was built straight out of the box. Enjoy the pics!! NOTE: I guess it's not really completed...I forgot to put the license plate on

Nice, but a little too low for my style, and I
think it needs some flare for the side. Nevertheless, its a quality build. |

I like it
and I like them cars low, really low. What I also like is building race cars for street use. ( Or maybe I am lazy with decals )
