Re: Initial D: Ver3
You're all forgetting "Initial D: Another Stage" for the GBA which is available at many emulation sites if you look hard enough. It's like a racing RPG. Addicting if you can learn japanese.
There is also the "Initial D" game for the old PS1, that is like a simpler version of the arcade game. I have it, and it's quite fun to play. You'll require a mod chip to play it, as it's a Japan-only game. It can be found at various import stores. The "Initial D: Mountain Vengeance" PC game is a joke. Many buyers have referred to the gameplay as "driving in the dark with sunglasses", and the steering is atrocious. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You can buy the machine direct from SegaRosso/HITMAKER if you've got the $13,000 for the dual unit plus shipping. Talk to your local arcade so you can get the contact information. For the money, the best Initial D game you can get is "Initial D: Special Stage" for PS2. It's a port of Arcade Stage ver.2 with a few extras thrown in, and is pretty well done. You'll need to brush up on your japanese and buy a mod chip to play it, as it's another japan-only title. Hope this helped.
