Question

trunk light 2

I checked the sensor and it was clean except half of the plastic sleeve around the metal part is broken off. Could this be causing the the trunk light to stay on constantly?

Yes, it could. Does the switch wiggle? Does it line up correctly and stay that way when you close the lid?
