Removing the chip from a Ford key
Hi all, has anyone here been successful in removing the pats chip from a ford key. I'm changing all the locks including ignition barrel and need the chips from the old keys to put into the new keys. I'm having trouble getting them out, although I gather you're meant to be able to do it. If anyone has any pointers that would be great!
Cheers. |

Re: Removing the chip from a Ford key
go to a dealer and have them do, might cost more but you'll get peace of mind knowing it's done properly.

Re: Removing the chip from a Ford key
why replace them when you can program them? As long as you have a key for that cyclinder it can be done.
