Reset or Restart Computer to original values

Hi.

I have a problem with my sunfire 2002 2.2L (55000Km).

months back I made a injectors cleaning, after the cleaning the consumption of gasoline increase.

the gasoline consumption before the cleaning was of 11, 11,5 Km/L, after the cleaning low between 8,5 to 10 km/L

I change the air filter, gas filter, spark plugs , recalibrate spark plugs but the gasoline consumption continuous same (high).

is possible to restart the original values of the computer if I disconnect the battery?

Re: Reset or Restart Computer to original values

Most gm vehicles require a very quick simple procedure to reset the computer. step 1. turn the key to the "ON" posistion./ step 2. disconnect the positive post of the battery./ step 3. leave terminal off for 5 to 10 minutes./ step 4. turn key to "OFF" posistion./ and finally step 5. reconnect battery

Re: Reset or Restart Computer to original values

I have listened that the new cars have a "held" memory that not flock so easily, this can be the case of my car?

can I know if this procedure works in my car? , or can I verify if I work?

How did you clean the injectors? sounds like the injector cleaner may have contanimated the O2 sensor, which will cause the computer to err on the side rich side of the mixture calibtartions. If that is the case looks like you might be looking at a new sensor
