93 S-10 Auto trans, what bolts up?

I've got an automatic out of a '93 S-10 4 cyl. I think it's a 700-R4(haven't visually checked). I'm curious as to what engine I can bolt to this. I know the 4.3 will bolt up, but what about the 2.8 v6?

2.8 and 4.3 is a different bolt pattern but even if you can get it bolted up there is many other things on different years that are different and also the 4 cyl trans is light built.
2 and 4 wheel a lot different to.

Must be the diff. between the 60 and 90 degree blocks.. Can someone verify that a 700 came out in a 4-cyl? Seems odd, but i can't think of another slushbox, unless the 4L60 was out in '93...?
