I am not sure but I believe Accord has two O2 sensors.

Re: 02 bad again

code 43 is a fuel supply system error code. Why on earth did you replace the 02 sensor in the first place?

From what I found, code 43 could be: Fuel supply system circuit OR fuel supply system...not sure which. I'd start checking out:

I'd replace the fuel filter if it has over 60k on it.
Then I'd
1. Check the fuel pressure
2. Check the fuel pressure regulator and all accompanying vaccum hoses for air leaks.
3. Fuel pump ( can you hear any noise from the fuel pump) it might not be getting enough voltage at low rpms. Hotwiring it would solve that specific issue.
3. Vacuum leaks

Also there is an an "IMPORTANT" thread titled 'service manuals' at the top of the accord forum. Check in there, and you can download your appropriate service manual, and see what instructions it gives you for diagnosing this problem.

Re: 02 bad again

Ok I did the batt reset thinggy and it didn't work. Engine checklight came back after 3mins or so.

I switch to another O2 sensor (used working) and did the batt reset and this time engine checklight comes on instantly.

Im thinking of buying a new O2 sensor again... But I doubt that will fix the problem. I'll try to bring to Honda shop this week. Will let you know.

I found a guy who had this problem from another forum. He said that you have to get the O2 sensor that is made for ULEV V-Tec. I'm not sure if this is true, because I got the O2 sensors from the dealer... I don't think they have ULEV version at all. But u could try. I'll run down to the dealer and see what they have to say.

Re: 02 bad again

SORRY!! Wrong forum... Disreguard what I said. This is for the misc. error code 1167 (primary Oxygen sensor failure.)

I talked to the person and they say they are also having a brake problem. When at a stop sign the brakes creep to the floor but when at speed they work fine. Could this be a vacum leak or brake booster?
