push button transfer case

My 2003 Suburan 4X 4 with the push button dash has started shifting into 4 low on it's own, so far luckily at very low speeds. Once it does this, it will lock into low or sometimes no gear at all and no amout of button pushing will change gears. Anyone experienced this or that could possible point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for you help.

Welcome on your first post on AF.
The transfercase is mostly computer controled.
Get a good body transmission/transfercase capable scanner on it and check for codes and most scanners will check out transfercase shifting. Just a OBD11 or code reader will not do it.
Also check wiring and plugins and fuses on it.
If any codes post back code no.
