Pics - of my homemade rear strut bar, & black corner lights

This is the rear strut bar i made for fun with square tubing and homemade feet. i polished it out and clearcoated it, then scroll saw'ed out the trim panels. and suprisingly ( i wasnt expecting any change) but it does seem stiffer in turns. SEEM- hopefully im not experiencing the placebo affect, but the bar is super strong so idk.



I always wanted to black out the corners w/ nightshades but didnt want something permanent, so i was like what the heck ill get some tint or something, i got some transparent vinyl from lamin-x.com (charcoal) and after doing the whole water and soap app. it was wrinkled so i busted out the good ole heat gun and went to town, trimmed it around the back edge and it looks AWESOME!! im tellin u for $24 shipped this looks like factory black gloss then its 70% light emiting so the orange blinker is still bright. i just waxed it looks great. along with painting my calipers black and and the chrome mitsu emblem , ill admit im pretty happy w/ the looks of my car. hopefully intrax springs coming soon.

Looks good. I was afraid going into this thread it might be some ghetto rig but it actually looks nice. Oh, and this is the widest damn thread I have ever been in. I have a 19" LCD and it was still over twice as wide as my screen. lol

real nice work there wakeboard it all has that professional finish look. very nicely done.

oh and you have the color scheme i was looking for with that black on tan, just so grown and sexy looking.

Thanks guys, and aerosoul we must have the same taste cuz if any thing is black and tan w/ a little chrome i might wet my pants. though bein 17 everybodies like "man get a NOS sticker and a GREDDY sticker man dude thatd be wicked rad cuz" but they drive hondas, we 3s folks' like the sleek smooth look. Those stickers add crazy HP gains... Man each one is worth 25hp easy... Its cool to promot on a show car if they are your sponsor, but the way i see it if they are not paying you or giving you a discount then why endorse them.

naw man dont put any stickers on that it will kill the sexy flow of the womanesque type curves that make you wanna run your hands around them all night and the peanut buttery look of the seats that look like they just wanna melt in your mouth and ....ummmm..sorry yeah dont get no stickers..

tan on black is just sexy

hopefully when i get ready to get my VR4 I can find a tan on black 2nd gen with those curves that.....oh sorry but yeah beautiful car man.

well how's everyone gonna know you're a street racer if you dont have stickers? lol, my neighbor who is a cop was telling me that he barely needs a radar detector when he sees a giant windsheild sticker coming

nice strut bar btw. judging from the pix, i would say that your car is approximately sexorific.
