Okay, first: I'm getting a strange result when spraying X-11 arcylic, it looks like there are short peices
of hair or thread in the paint. Is it just that this jar has gone bad? Or do tamiya's metal colored arcylic react like this? If so, what can I do to fix it? Sorry mainly an Enamel/Laquer kinda guy NOTE: When spraying other colors this does not happen. As for the Gunze part: I'm starting to look into gunze paints as I like using laquers over enamels/arcylics. I've seen 3 'series' of gunze paint so far: Gunze Sangyo Aqueous, Gunze Sangyo Mr Color, Gunze Sangyo Acrylics. I'm guessing the Aqueous & Acrylics lines are Acrylic, and the Mr Color line is laquer. My questions are: 1st. are my guesses right↑? 2nd. does gunze make enamels?(If so what line are they and what numbering codes do they have?) Thanks for any replies!

Re: Q's about Tamiya Arcylic & Gunze paints.
It sounds like you have a combination of paint not being thinned enough and spraying too far from the subject.
I spray X-11 all the time without issue but I have found it takes a little more thinning and more light coats to get a good coverage. Some of the other guys here are better than me at explaining this stuff so I will defer to them.
