4.3l power lost & Back Fire

99 Jimmy with 4.3l engine
Back fire with no service light when depress acelerator to the floor for kick down.
Can't pass slower one's on country roads.

Check my posting "Finally fixed; stalling when hot (long)". I just posted it. Sounds like it may be the same problem.

To summarize, replace your ignition module and clean/check your emmision control sensors.
