2001 Burban A/C Control Issues..
I have an '01 LT burban...
I know from the manual that the climate control is not really as "controllable" as I would like it... If the temp is say 60-deg outside (via the temp/compass R/V mirror), the A/C won't work.. the heater will blow, the fan will blow, but no "cold" air.. The manual says this is normal... My issue is that I HATE IT.. is there any way I can disable this retarded feature? I'm tempted to swap out the A/C controls from my '00 GMC Sierra to see if I can just swap the control units... I'd rather not, any help is appreciated... BTW.. before anyone asks.. I live in AZ and I do like the cool morning air.. my allergies don't.. so I find it better to turn the A/C on low.. but I can't do this unless the outside temp is "acceptable" according to the manual.. -Shane |

Re: 2001 Burban A/C Control Issues..
Might have to take it to the dealership to see if they can lower the temperature. Other than that there is not much you can do. The setting is there to prevent the evaporator from freezing up.
