Do you have something to back up your statement? and something not from a short shifter manufacturer?

Just think about it logically. The shorter the distance u have to go from gear to gear, the quicker u can get back on the gas. And I said up to .1 - this could be 0.002s!

The point is, it is well known that a short throw shifter will decrease the time between shifts. If all else is equal, logically, it will make ur times faster. not by much, but it does something.

sure it does minimal, but saying it does nothing is not true.

But really, if you're going to dispute a claim like "up to 0.1s"...then yuo're overly pedantic and irritable.

Re: brother vs brother

rice(er), is your car red or orange? Everytime you post a picture it's a different shade, so I can't really tell.

if your going to make a claim like "up to 0.1s" then how does that make you any better? I could lose 0.01 off my time by going to the bathroom.

Maybe your statement might be true for someone who cannot drive, I would not say it will make times faster because simply its not going to, theres too much human error, you run a different time each time anyway a short shifter is not gonna make a noticeable difference at all. It does do something it feels different maybe "cool" to some.

In the end I really dont care I just saw an opportunity to question someones belief.

I'm in love with a sleeper. My moto has always been all go and no show, although I have lost site a few times along the way.
Doesn't rust cut weight off too?

Anyways, rice(er) I'm not really a big yota fan but I can pick out even the most riced out mr2's, just to laugh at of course. Nice death/ ricer kill though.

I know, hahah, you always do that.

However, I still don't think it's right to say a short shifter does not help AT ALL.

Stop being a bitch to me or i'll go and cry.

And it's a well known fact that going to the bathroom is a proven method of weight reduction whilst racing. Especially if you just had some burritos and the gas is building up.
