Angry headlight bulb type

I have been looking to replace my headlight bulbs with some of those bright white type I have found an error in the Xterra Owner's manual. My 2001 SE uses a 9004 bulb NOT the 9007 as stated in the manual.

Exclamation 2000 headlights

I don't know if this will help any, but my 2000 Xterra uses the 9004 bulbs. Get the Piaa Surer Whites.

I've got a 2000 Xterra, my manual also says I need 9007 bulbs for the headlights. When I contacted EuroLights.com about their Xenon-Charged bulb upgrades they told me I needed 9004. Luckily I trusted them as I received the bulbs a few weeks ago and they do need 9004. (the manual was wrong, at least in my case) The EuroLights bulbs are running great in my Xterra, they are MUCH brighter than stock & look very sharp.

I am waiting for their Yellow ION bulbs for my foglights(ordered a few days ago). This combination supposedly works very well.

take care

2002 model takes the 9007 ONLY

9004 bulbs are the right size for the 00-01 models.

Re: 2002 model takes the 9007 ONLY

The 2002+ switched to 9007 type, that's been confirmed.
