fuse blowing problem
hi, i have a pioneer primer 680 cd player in my 96 sl2 and when ever i have it turned up past half way it blows the fuse ( the 5 amp one that is connected in with the rear defoster) and last night i went through 2 fuses just trying to get my equallizer setting the way i want it. i know it's bad to put like a 7.5 amp fuse there but i was wondering where i could get a wiring schamtic for my 96 sl2 to try to make all my radio's power seprate or just on one fuse not 3 or 4 like it is now.

Re: fuse blowing problem
the radio has two fuses, one is hot at all times for the clock and preset memory, the other is hot with key on. the most common place to reroute the hot at all times source is to tap into the cigeratte lighter circuit.
