93 eclipse and 2nd gear on a 5spd

1st, and 3-5 shift pretty good... sometimes there's a tiny bit of grind going into them if the clutch isn't firm against the ground. 2nd gear is a bitch however. Sometimes it'll go in if I BABY it over the course of like 4 seconds. otherwise it'll just grind. any ideas? one frinend told me a pressure plate. I think it may be the linkage? I don't know much about FWD transmissions thou.

Appreciate it
Tom

try to change the fluid, and adjust the clutch.
