what you need is to borrow someone's rx-7, and tell them that you need the pistons and rods checked

LOL, kinda like on that cobra staged interview that everyone has seen, "yeah its a rotary with pistons and rods and all that" that was awesome lol. On the off-topic race section (i think) someone posted a phone prank done by a radio station. You guys should go listen to that lol.

Re: oil change and a laugh

Hahaha, go in with a diesel truck and tell them you need the spark plugs checked.

WARNING!!! FLASHBACK
Years ago I used to work at WVU as a Engineers Assistant (sounds more important than it was) I was basically a laborer who helped run dyno cylces on diesels testing catylitic converters and their effects on the diesels. Anyway we were slow the one day and I had a group of student workers who did the same thing I did, for less pay and less hours, that I was supervisor over. (holy run-on sentence Batman) Anyway we were changing oil in the Cummins and yelled to the one guy we called Lucky. He was smart but not mechanically inclined. Told him to go get the credit card, go to Advance and get some spark plugs for teh Cummins.

He runs up stairs and about 10 seconds later the boss comes out with a grin on his face, just looks at us and shakes his head. He said "Thats not very nice" We just started rolling with laughter. Lucky didnt talk to us the rest of the day.

Re: oil change and a laugh

God i loved that GTR mustang...that whole DVD was just excellent. As far as them changing the oil, I honestly hope so. The car made it up on a lift...so if they honestly put it into the air, and didn't change the oil, I'd be a bit surprised. I used to work at a dealership, and I took a ton of shortcuts detailing cars, and I know the lack of respect customer cars receive, but skipping an oil change completely would be pretty low.

I have seen them forget to replace the drain plug, or leave a rag under the hood, which started a fire (quite a few times). Both of which usually end in totalled engines...but skipping the oil change completely, I have yet to see. (not that I'm at all reassured)

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
