Actually only one!
This doesn't happen all the time but sometimes when driving at hwy speeds (in AZ it's about 80), I will notice that my speed is remaining constant but my RPM's are starting to increase. If I do not slow down it would have increased to red-line, i guess. I then drive in 3rd gear for about 10-15 minutes and then I can return to hwy speeds. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Re: 97 Olds 88-Two problems
It looks like it's not shifting properly at the right time. When was the last time you have drop the transmission fluid and replaced the transmission fluid filter? It might be time to replace it.
