turning off the seatbelt chime 2007 Suburban

does anyone know how to turn off the annoying seatbelt chime when the seatbelt is not fastened in a timely manner ?

is there a workaround ??? this is for informational purposes only, of course...

i was just curious and my dealer told me that it was not possible....

Re: turning off the seatbelt chime 2007 Suburban

When I bought my 2005 Suburban, the previous owner had just a buckle (just the metal part) plugged into the seatbelt, he must of got one from the dealership or a jukeyard, the original seat belt was not touched. When you wanted to use the seatbelt, you unbuckled the dummy buckle and threw it in the center console

Jeffs response will do it.
