94 Accord Engine Problem...please give advice!

Well I have 94 accord with a f22 non vtec...in other words....stock engine. Heres the problem, when I start my car in the morning, its pretty much normal. But after I have driven it, stop 4 a couple of hrs or so, and turn it back on, it starts to make a rough noise like if something is shaking. The RPM drops a lil everytime it makes the noise. It dissapears in less than a min. It drives normal after that but it needs antifreeze most of time. I put water in it and I could c the vapor through the exhaust when the car is stopped. Then It starts to overheat so I have to put water again. I'm thinking it could be my head gasket since my car was overheated badly by the previous owner and nothing from the engine was replaced. What do you think it is? Do u think I should stop driving it and put a new gasket or do head work? Or should I just drop in a new engine. Remember I could still drive my car. Please help me. Thank you.

i'm thinking that you'll need to pressurize-test the cooling system...
goto closest autozone & rent that tool fo free...
pressurize the system to ~14-15 psi... see if pressure drops...(most likely, it will drop)

now to start hunting down where it's leaking... keep pumping it up to that set pressure & start looking

i'm thinking that u were driving it soo many times to warp the cylinder head & blow the gasket already...from your description. How's the condition of the oil? black? milkshake like? don't forget to change that too if it's just black...milkshake says "bye-bye" to engine bearings...
