Re: What should I do!?!

I actually do have a "drag strip" in my front yard. It is my neighborhood street . How do I insert a picture without an URL? this is what I got:

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Compaq_Owner/Desktop/straightawayslam.JPG

Re: What should I do!?!

to insert a pic w/o a URL (that is w/o hosting the pic via another website like photobucket.com), then you have to upload the pic into the automotiveforums.com gallery. then just copy the URL with html code before and after like this:

or if you decide to host pics on photobucket or anywhere else, then you do the same thing with the html code.

Re: What should I do!?!

How do you measure exactly a 1/4 and for that matter time it too? I would think that would be hard to even get within a second, second and a half of what it is. Looks good though.

Re: What should I do!?!

One of my friends did that same thing, except he didnt have any trees to hide him . My friend measured the 1/4 mile with 3 different car's odometers, one being electronic. He maked it off and had another kid time him from in the car with a stopwatch. He got between 18 and 19 seconds, but again he was driving a 2.2 cavalier lol. I dont know about you guys, but thats how we do it in North Dakota

Re: What should I do!?!

I've got to hear how he measures this. Like I said you could easily be a second and a half off. Thats the difference between an SL and a VR4!

Re: What should I do!?!

For me I usually just look at the speed I hit. As long as I hooked up at my starting point I know its going to be pretty close.

Re: What should I do!?!

I just used my odometer, probobly not very accurate. But I'm not racing so its not a big deal to me. But its slow nonetheless.
