interior lights stay on

I have a 99 bon ssei. I have noticed the interior lights comming on only at night (so far). They came on and off while driving, then after a while everything seemed ok. Now, they turned on in my driveway when I opened and shut the door. They are staying on while the car is off, so I disconnect the battery.

I just solved this same problem on my 97 Bonne SE. Check the door handle
illuminated entry switches in both front doors. These switches activate
everytime the front door handle is pulled to open. Mine had bad switches
and I replaced both. Everything is back to normal again.
