please i could use someone else's help.. my seat belt chime stays on continously after starting my 1994 JGC. none of my interior lights come on when the chime is on so i imagine its not a door switch. i also dont believe its a fuse because i ck'd all of them in the fuse panel and it doesnt happen everytime. if i unplug the chime underneath the driver side and plug it back in, i can start it a few times and itll work fine. then itll start again. its driving me nuts, so if someone else has any idea what to do, feel free to let me know. i ck'd and done everything i can think of, so im definitely open to suggestions

What I understand of the seatbelt chime is that it is controlled by the BCM Body Control Module. You might need a scan tool to help diagnost this problem. There is CCD Bus Terminal for a scan tool under the front drivers side of the console usally blue and for a scan tool you will need a chrysler 2 connector. You might want to start from the seat belt switch and chek the wirring to the BCM. When the belt is not buckled the switch is closed and when closed the switch connects circuit G10 from the BCM to ground circuit Z1. If the switch is closed when the ignition is on the chime alarms. The BCM is located under the left end of the Instrument pannel. Hope this helps!

I also recall that in the old posts, there was one suggestion offered that you can deactivate the chime module , and directions were given as to how to do it, a little back research may help solve the chime problem
