Revell 1:24 McLaren MP 4/12 F1

Hi guys, I was just wondering if any of you had completed this kit. This is my first F1 car so I just wanted to get some advice on it if you have any. Also what would be the correct Tamiya spray can color for this. Thanks !

I built one, didnt find any problems with it, it went together pretty good!
Im not sure of Tamiya colors, but I used dupli-color black & silver.

Love that build every time i see it James.

If you are using Tamiya spray cans then Gloss Aluminium would be a good match for the silver. The dark metallic grey is a bit harder. For the MP4/13 Tamiya recommend MS-5 which is kind of hard to find and quite a coarse flake. I think something like GSI Creos (Gunze Sangyo) Steel would be a better match. Or if you are using Tamiya acrylics/enamel bottle paints, XF-56 Metallic Grey (with a clear coat of course).
