I have a 1998 eighty-eight and it needed a new engine. It is almost completely installed, I just have to finish connecting the wiring harness. But... the engine has new coil packs which are unlabeled with the cylinder number, and the shop which had to check my engine out in order for me to get a new one under warrenty, pulled the spark plug wires out. I will buy a Haynes manual if I have to, but can someone give me a basic diagram of the spark plug wires? I have a Haynes manual for the 3800 series I engine from an older car, you think the spark plug wire diagram would be the same?
Thanks, Steve |

Re: Spark Plug Wires
Can anyone just tell me what order the numbers on thier coil packs are? I tried a Google image search but can't seem to find a good enough picture so I can read the numbers.
Just something like this: 6 5 4 <----cylinders 1 2 3 3 <----coil pack #'s 6 2 5 1 4 That might actually be right... I'm just trying to remember what kind of order they were in from memory. Thanks, Steve |
