Intermittant POWER button...

Sometimes while driving our Leganza, I noticed the POWER button on the shifter will work, and sometimes it won't. I have noticed on some of the times it doesn't work, it won't work in drive but it will if I shift it to reverse. Anyone else have this problem? I have been very busy and haven't had time to check it out. I am thinking P/N safety switch, but don't want to buy one if someone else has the problem figured out and it's not it as it costs $252 @ rockauto.com TYIA

Re: Intermittant POWER button...

Well, the thing is I like the way the car acts when it does work, the higher shift points, the lockup staying on on decel.... That's why I was asking if anyone else had the problem and had figured out the cause.
