Re: Heard on the radio totay.
Well the issue with Freedom of Speech is that eventually a society needs to draw the line somewhere. Thats obviously a very big statement to make since it does entail restricting Freedom of Speech and whenever you start restricting freedom you run the risk of taking it too far.
Perhaps best answer I can come up with off the top of my head is: "Freedom of Speech, as it pertains to the mass marketing of an opinion through media and speeches to crowds not assembled willingly, should not be extended to those who's views are blatantly genocidal or otherwise advocate the wanton killing of other humans for no particular reason then they fall into a certain category of societal labeling". However this too opens up another gray area as to what and who falls under where and thus what views are to be restricted. I hate the labeling system society imposes on itself with a passion most reserve only for rapists and child molestors. Frankly, I don't think Freedom of Speech is the end all green light to broadcast any opinion on a massive scale. If they want to hold their own rally and speak to a crowd that has willingly and knowingly assembled to hear that kind of speech, so be it. But keep it to that, don't try forcefully put it out to those who don't want to hear it.

Too my knowledge, United States Bill of Rights doesnt exactly apply in Sweden.
So if you want a moral answer, then yes, they should be allowed to speak. Just because you dont like what they have to say doesnt make their opinion any less valuable than yours. If you want the legal answer, youll have to look up any laws in Sweden regarding speech.

Use the unspoken rule - you have the right not to listen.

Re: Heard on the radio totay.
I really don't see how the "moral" answer is that a bunch genocidal nutjobs should be able to broadcast their opinion at a highschool.
Why should a group who's views over 99% of the population would disagree with be aloud to speak in schools? Freedom is of the utmost importance but at some point a society must be self regulating. As the saying goes "In a society where everything goes, eventually everything will." Like I said, yes they do have a right to their opinion. They want to hold a clan rally in the middle of South Central (as in LA and yes, I know we're talking about Sweden), good luck to them. However given that they are a genocidal extremist group and that the vast majority of the populace think they're off their collective nut, why shouldn't the people have a right to step in and bar them from speaking in schools? I am all for Freedom of Speech but at some point, like everything else, there has to be a limit. And as always, determining what that limit is tends to be the hard part.

Re: Heard on the radio totay.
Seems to me that if they are going to force the students to listen to the Nazi/Democratic party, that there should be opposing points of view presented also, by the other parties. Subjecting students to one point of view isn't truly an educational thing - unless you're only attempting to educate them to be Nazis.

Though from what I've been hearing of the problems some Muslims have been given the Swedes (or was it the Swiss? I always get them mixed up), it sounds like their words won't fall on completely deaf ears.
