Sound of celica's vvtl vs. honda's vtec

I was wondering how the 00-05 Celica's VVTi-L sounded, compared to that of honda's vtec...is it louder, more impressive, or the opposite...also would you choose a manual 94 and up acura integra gsr (2 door) or a toyota 00' celica gts

The celica sounds better, it has that raw tuned sound that screams power. The honda screams 5 hp to 1 ft lb torque. It sounds hi strung.

i second the VVTL-i it sounds tuned and nice. Only thing the GT-S needs is a LSD. They weigh much less than the GSR.

Re: Sound of celica's vvtl vs. honda's vtec

does the celica come w/less horsepower in any of the years because of the rev limiter changes throughout the 00' to 05' years?? and does it not sound as nice in the years that the rev limiter was set back to 7400rpm instead of 8400 i think it was?
