Slow to Start ... Fuel Pressure Regulator?
96 900S 2.3 4 cyl, 100K. Always starts, but it cranks for like 6 seconds before it finally fires. Once running, it's great. Replaced starter, fuel filter, cleaned IAC, new plugs, new wires.... what could it be?
Fuel Pump ? Fuel Pressure Regulator? How do I test fuel pressure at home? |

Re: Slow to Start ... Fuel Pressure Regulator?
You have a distributor, or distributorless ignition system ? If distributor..., check/clean the cap, points gapping and change the rotor button; If distributorless..., change out the DI cassette and see if either of these solve your problem.
One other suggestion would be to pull the crank postion sensor and clean it, then replace. |
