Best reverse gauges for Civic?
I am wanting to get some reverse indiglo gauges for my 98 Civic LX (automatic). I'm not posting to hear how I need to get a 5spd. That will come after school along with the B18.
Anyhow, what brand of gauges do you have? I was thinking about going with something like below: Sold for only $40 on ---> Ebay! I've seen some that have "Racing Fuel Only" on them and they are pretty whack IMO! I see now you can get ones that change to green, but they are about twice as much and I don't care for the green at all! A pic is below of them: ![]() I know the only bad thing about these are the needles do not show up on the gauges. Anyone ever figure out how to get around this problem? Glow in the dark paint on them??

Those gauges DO look tight! I do have one question though: With those reverse indiglo gauges is it hard to see where the needle is at night? I've also seen indiglo needles being sold. Do I needle to get the needles if the plan to get reverse indiglo gauges? Another question is I have a 99 civic dx hatch and as many fellow hatchback owners know, my car does not have a tach in my dash. Does anyone know if there are reverse indiglo sets that come with a tach for my car?

These are what mine look like. They have 5 different color settings and 5 brightness settings. These are AC gauges, which IMO are still the best for rev EL gauges. you can also try eurolite or something like that. Heres a pic of mine...

That pic was from the middle setting, inbetween green/blue. It looks best in the blue before the bluest blue....do I sound like damn Dr. Suess? haha :finger: I personally don't really like how the red and blue look together but hey its tight..my friends is silverface rev gauges, and his are red and blue. his are the best red/blue combi i've seen. i'll TRY to get a pic

Wha?? I'm a little confused by your reply. I WANT the tach as one of my gauges. Do you mean that I should get a set for manuals even though I have an automatic? For those who already own a set of reverse gauges: Do you have trouble seeing the needle at night? Or are the gauges bright enough for you to see things clearly at night?
