Re: AC lines

replace it w/ a similar line?

that would be ur bestbet, and you'll want to re-route it AWAY from the turbo

and if it is one that hold's freon, you'll want more...

Re: AC lines

well if you can find the lines (most likely from a dealership) remember to thermal wrap them, your radiator hose, and anything else you want to keep cooler for that instance. But most likely the reason your pipe exploded is due to the coolent freezing and the compressor building up to much pressure.

Re: AC lines

thats anothing thing i was goin to get, that thermal wrap cuz it exploded because all that heat from the turbo. i looked at the line it in was like brown so, maybe just a little to much heat around there.

Re: AC lines

You could also thermal wrap your turbo, headers, and downpipe...that would probably work better then doing the AC lines. But Im not sure, make sure the wrap is capable of handeling that much on contact heat, turbos make mad ammounts of heat, and even though the wrap wont start on fire, it could detereorate. Check it out, but you gotta do somethin.

Here is an OEM mitsu dealer online...check here for the lines http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=214144
