2004 Explorer/Mountaineer Keypad Code
Hi,
I just bought a 2004 Mountaineer and I am trying to find out how to get the factory code for the door lock keypad. I made this same post in the Mountaineer forum, however I know more people are probably looking at the Explorer forum and it's basically the same vehicle. I have searched the forums for both the Mountaineer and Explorer and many have said that the code is located in the back where the tire jack is. There is nothing there in my car as I have a third seat there. I have also seen people being referred to a website find find the code, however the website is no longer operational. Can anyone help me here? Any assistance would be appreciated. |

Re: 2004 Explorer/Mountaineer Keypad Code
Remove the left rear trim panel over the wheel well. There should be a module in there that has the code on it.
