what the hell???

up until yesterday my car was running fine.it started yesterday the bogging and out the exhaust and headers starting making a popping sound.last night i was driving and it did it again,but,this time the car completely shut-off.it cranks but wont start.i just had the fuel pump and filter replaced for about 400 dollars.i know theres pressure in the lines.i tried using that starter fluid today,it still wont start.another thing is when you are driving you can smell exhaust strong.beside my header leak.if anyone one has an idea of whats going on please help me out.1989 civic lx sedan 5 speed around 40k on motor.

pull your dizzy cap off. check to see of the rotor fell off. then come back and tell me what you found.
