04 gto shifter gate & intake kit

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have used any of these intake kits presented by slp for the 04 gto? http://www.lmperformance.com/c/11/43.html

is it better to just drop in a filter or do these "cold air" intakes really make a big difference?

Also, would anyone know where I could get a ferrari stle shiftboot for the 04 gto?
