i am wondering how fast a stock 1988 camaro gets 0 to 60.
and what is top speed?

it is not in the best, i got it cheap and plan on painting it i has very litle rust for the year

My guess says thats a 3.1 (V6) model somewhere around 135hp, not very whopping.

i justchecked it is a v8 (8 spark plugs)not sure if its stock
its a 5 speed manual

Well then you must have misread the vin # here's all of them for 88:

E = 5.0 305 TBI
F = 5.0 305 TPI
8 = 5.7 350 TPI
S = 2.8 MPFI

8th vin number is S (sory abount that)
the engine must not be stock
were can i find engine vin?
