you 'll have to double check but i'm pretty sure the suspension is the same....
as for corollas built in the us i'm not sure about that...as far has i remember all corollas were built in japan until 88than the "lsx" and "lx" were built in canada and the "le" the sr5 and gts were still built in japan... and from 93 they were all built in cambrige ontario canada ....

Production of the Toyota Corolla FX16 began at the NUMMI plant in Fremont, California, in September 1986. Two years later, the same plant introduced the Corolla sedan. Both of these vehicles, and the related Nova/Prizm, were produced in the US before the Cambridge plant produced any significant number of Corollas for sale. Toyota's Cambridge, Ontario, plant opened in November 1988 and began producing Corollas in 1989 (about 20,900 were built that year). NUMMI and Cambridge still produce the Corolla. Some North American Corollas are still imported.

most engine and suspension parts are the same.
body parts are different, most trim parts are different. as long as you are talking about a 4 door corolla. to determine the origin, check your VIN: 2T1= canada 1NX= california JT2= japan i believe all novas were made in california |
