97 accord is blowing hot air. Help! Freon didnt work.
My honda accord 1997 4cyl is blowing hot air from the air conditioner. I bought the freon stuff with the gauge and it said that it was dangerously high so I didn't add any. I checked the fuses and antifreeze and they were all good. If you know an easy way of finding out whats wrong let me know what to do.

Do you hear the compressor clutch kick on? Does the secondary engine cooling fan turn on?

I hear it come on and I think both fans are working. I will make sure again, and do you know what my options are if it all works or if it doesn't?

If the clutch is turning on then its probably the compressor. If the clutch isnt turning on then it may be a fuse or relay. Anyhow you will hear the fan click but you shoud also hear a click around where the alternator and ps pump is too

Without being there to diagnose your prob I would also believe it was the compressor. It wont be cheap but don't forget to change the filter dryer.
