Lincoln LKS Survey... Voice your opinion.

Dammit, that title should be "MKS". Sorry.

Anyway, Lincoln has a survey on their Web site about the new MKS. Lots of questions, which (hopefully) indicate some interesting possibilities for new Lincolns if they're not just "throw-in" questions.

Go to http://www.lincoln.com/reachhigher/ and click on the MKS name at the botton of the page, or click on the picture of the MKS when it appears on screen. Hold your mouse over the "Future Technologies" box, and a box will slide up containing the link to the survey.

I don't like it. A V6 4x4 is not my thing. All of the options seem like toys, no real substance. To be honest if I wanted a vehicle like that I would shop a mini van and could do better on the price for the content.

Where is Lincoln going these days?

There are options there for a V8 and RWD... As far as toys without substance...yeah, maybe. One could argue that anything beyond a 1986 Dodge Colt is just a toy w/o substance. We all have to decide for ourselves where the value line is drawn. I would not pay $600 for adaptive HID, but some would. I would pay $2000 for a killer stereo, but some would laugh at me for it.

Funny, I took a second look today and now I realy like it. A worthy successor to the LS. I like the adaptive headlight idea. My Turo Coupe had side mounted white lights that turned on with the car in reverse or on the side you had the turn signal set for. That was a great feature that is very rare. What do you think, the MKS is a bit 7 Series and a bit Infinity?
