Re: 4.3 question

You should be able to, but there may be a few differences in them. Vacuum ports, EGR and sensor location, etc.

Re: 4.3 question

i'm not too worried about those things as much as I am about head bolt angle and if they would fit correctly, I want the z block without the balancer shaft but I want the vortec stuff off a Bravada with the w block with a balalnce shaft, I just dont want to start with project and end up with a dead end

Let me know what you find out, I wanna do the same thing really soon. I'm taking a '91 tbi and putting it into a '93.

Re: 4.3 question

i will be putting the heads and intake from a 1994 Olds. Bravada into a 1991 Chevy blazer sport 2dr 2 wheel drive that has a 4.3 already in it, the blazer has the "z" block and the bravada has the "w" block, the blazer is a non vortec tbi and the bravada is a vortec cpi, I need to know if this swap will work or if I'm just pissing in the wind.

Re: 4.3 question

your intake won't bolt to the w vin heads but you can use the w heads and block but you will need to use the thicker head gaskets to prevent leaks
