Tokico Illumina or HP???
I am about to purchase a lowering kit for my 2000 EX Coupe. I previously had a 99 EX Coupe with the Tokico HP kit on it and I liked the way it rode very much. Now that I am ready to purchase again for the new ride, what is the difference between the 2??? I know the illumina's are adjustable. But with my car being STRICTLY a daily driver, and with funds being on the low end that upgrading the engine will NOT happen in the near future. Will I notice the difference? I think mainly I am going to go with the HP's are I don't think I need to adjust my shocks, unless someone has a valid arguement on why they are better. I think mainly I would be adjusting them all the time just because they are adjustable and I'm hard-headed and don't know when to leave well enough alone. But your opinions count for something if at least to keep this site going!!!

Re: Tokico Illumina or HP???
Personally I would choose adjustable first even if it's a daily driver. The biggest reason is fine tuning the ride to your liking. Some prefer a stiffer ride while others prefer a softer ride or if you're like me you like both. You did day funds are low so you may wish to stick with the HP's, good springs, and put that extra $$$$ towards a rear sway bar.
