new to forum- first car!!
hey guys
i searched the web for a good dependable forum, and i chose this one, hopefully i chose the right one! i am looking for cars that are under 3000usd. i am kinda shimming it down to a couple cars a ford probe ( i love the american type sporty style) a chevy/ford small pickup ( ranger, s10 pickup) im not really sure im posting, im just asking for some info about both the cars, i kinda want the milage to be under 150 thou. newer then 95. any info, if you got any other cars for me to look at all help will be greatly appreciated thanks jordan

the probe has a mazda engine, transmission, and chassis. They're decent cars, a lot of people didn't properly maintain them though.
4 cylinder and 3.0 V6 Rangers are very dependable trucks as are S10's.

Probes are nice and as drdisque said, most of the major components were sourced from Mazda. In terms of the trucks, I'd take the S10 with the 4.3L V6. It's not smooth or refined (90 degree V6's never are) but it's powerful and reliable.
