Grilles - which years fit
Anyone know when (if any) changes were made to the Caprice grilles from 77 through 90? Which would fit an '83?

Re: Grilles - which years fit
77-79 are different (shorter) than the 80-85, changing again in 86 & 87, and i think again 88-90. Therefore I think the 80-85 will fit your application.

Re: Grilles - which years fit
The BIG changes are '77-79, '80-85 and '86-90. The '86-90 grille is the same, but is smaller than the '80-85. There were some asthetic changes in the '80-85 model years - the only one that I know stands out is the '80 which will fit any of those 6 years. I thought of that particular group, the '80 was the best looking.

Also, the 80's top trim matches the top of headlight surround.

Re: Grilles - which years fit
in 84 the grille was a seperate piece that came off by its self. on some later models afer 85, i believe that the whole front clip was one piece. the later ones used one big headlight instead of two on each side.
